Amazon.com Product Description:
Strengthen your back, biceps, and other upper body muscles in the comfort of your living room or dorm with the Iron Gym workout bar. Designed to fit conveniently in most doorway frames or sit on the floor for pushups, dips, and sit-ups, the Iron Gym is an ideal choice for people who want to get fit without buying expensive, space-intensive weight sets. When installed in the doorway, the device lets you perform pull-ups and chin-ups, with three grip positions--narrow, neutral, and wide--for working the inner and outer back. Once you're done with your back workout, you can quickly move the Iron Gym to the floor, where you can perform pushups while facing down, tricep dips while facing the other way, or sit-ups using the Iron Gym for foot stability.
The Iron Gym--whose durable steel frame installs quickly without tools or fasteners--holds up to 300 pounds and is designed to fit residential doorways 24 to 32 inches wide, with doorway trim or molding up to 3.5 inches wide.

- Get this!I'm 16 years old and at my age I'm attempting to get more into shape and becoming confident about my body. I'm about average as most teenagers I would say but I really wanted to see sense a growth in the muscle in my arms as well as getting general exercise. For the price and the absence of any hassle assembling the equipment, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. It isn't easy, but true exercise shouldn't be. So, check it out!

- It works...My wife got this for me as a christmas gift. I let her assemble it and it took her 5 min. I was nervous at first thinking it was gunna fall off the door but it really is solid once your on it. I only use it for pull ups right now but since I done have any other bar to use this works well.

- Head of bolt broke after my third chinI completely separated the head off the bolt after my third chin. You know the square part of the bolt that connects to the head? Yeah, it broke clean off from the head there. I might return it and give it another shot though, hopefully it was just a defective bolt. It's supposed to carry 300 lbs and I only weigh 215 lbs FWIW.

- Works exactly as advertisedI saw a commercial for the Iron Gym a few days ago. The Iron Gym is a pull up bar that wraps around your door frame and uses leverage, so there are no screws required.
It looked like an interesting product so I Googled it. You know, just to make sure that it wasn't a trap or something. I learned that it was actually a pretty good product.
Went out and picked one up at Academy for $30. Not expensive at all.
It works exactly as advertised. The commercial says ... Read More
